Up for sale, a 2018 Fender Hybrid ‘60s Stratocaster Quilt Top FSR, showroom-clean and complete with hangtags. A limited FSR (Factory Special Run) model with a custom color Transparent Green finish on the heavily figured quilted maple top, this Strat is one of the finest (and now discontinued) iterations ever produced by Fender Japan, and a model not available in the USA market.
The Hybrid '60s Stratocaster is simply stunning in its forward-thinking design and player-friendly features, with an alder body, slab rosewood fretboard with a modern 9.5” radius and Narrow/Tall fretwire, a set of Fender's American Vintage 57/62 black bobbin pickups, USA-spec CTS pots, a two-point vibrato unit, locking Kluson-style tuners, larger fretwire, and a satin neck profile finish.
The perfect marriage of Vintage and Modern, the Hybrid '60s model is true to its name, yet the tonal range of the instrument is firmly in the Vintage camp.
