2023 Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster Tokyo Flagship Limited Edition Hokusai Mt Fuji
2023 Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster Tokyo Flagship Limited Edition Hokusai Mt Fuji
Tonewoods include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and 22-fret slab ebony fingerboard; the American Acoustasonics feature Fender’s patented Stringed Instrument Resonance System technology, carefully calibrated with a “waterfall” design to guide airflow in and out of the hollow body to ensure fantastic resonance and enhanced tones both acoustically and plugged in. There are a wide range of sounds on tap via the trio of pickups, including a Fishman Undersaddle Transducer, Fishman Acoustasonic Enhancer, and Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless single coil. The Acoustasonic Noiseless (as the name suggests) is designed for hum-free performance, yielding quintessential Fender sparkle and snap, and the pickup can be played solo or blended with the piezo undersaddle transducer for a wide array of naturally brassy, warm and punchy tones. The Acoustasonic Enhancer registers the vibrations of the top, adding an extra percussive kick, also blendable with the transducer. This Tokyo Flagship Limited Edition American Acousticasonic is featherweight at 4lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and low action.
