Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Hybrid II Stratocaster FSR Collection, showroom-clean and complete with hangtags. This Japan-exclusive Strat is an ideal combination of classic aesthetics and modern, player-friendly features. Premium appointments include a two-point Synchronized Tremolo, locking tuners, USA-spec CTS pots, a satin-finished Modern C neck profile, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9 1/2“ radius and narrow/tall fretwire. This FSR (Factory Special Run) model was produced for a single dealer, Shimamura Music, and sourced direct from Tokyo, featuring a Charcoal Frost Metallic finish with matching headstock.
The Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coils feature staggered, beveled alnico pole pieces, specifically voiced to accentuate the best qualities of each pickup position. The bridge is sparkling and clear, with a touch of extra low end kick, the neck pickup is throaty and full, and the “in-between” positions on the five-way selector switch deliver a quintessential hollow Strat quack.
