Up for sale, a 2026 Fender Traditional II Late ‘60s Jaguar in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A newer entry in Fender Japan's Traditional line, the Late 60s Jaguar model has a feature set consistent with the 1966 model year, including pearloid blocks and cream binding on the rosewood fretboard, a vintage-correct "transitional" Fender logo and Fender “F” tuning machines. Otherwise unavailable to the USA market, this instrument was sourced directly from Tokyo, boasting a gloss Black finish with matching headstock.
A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jaguar platform, the Traditional II Late 60s model features redesigned Vintage-Style pickups, as well as USA-spec CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastic parts. The pickups dish out plenty of twang and snap in the top end, with a slightly aggressive chime and sinewy snarl that sets this model apart. Each pickup selection has a distinctive sound, with great clarity for strummed passages and sparkling lead lines. Engage the Rhythm Circuit for even darker, meatier tones (great for use with fuzz pedals) or click on the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for even thinner tic-tac sounds.
