This premium iteration of the McCarty platform boasts a stunning, deeply figured flitchmatched flame maple “10 Top” highlighted by a Blue Matteo finish, McCarty humbuckers, and an uncommon rosewood neck with a Wide Fat profile and a satin finish.
The mahogany body, carved maple top and rosewood neck result in an instrument with terrific natural warmth and sustain, and this McCarty weighs 8lbs. The McCarty humbuckers are wound in the PAF camp, particularly articulate, sweet, and expressive with a full-bodied warmth, and there is a global push/pull coil tap at the Tone control for clear, sparkling single coil cut.
