2012 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Trem Faded Blue Burst w/ Case
Up for sale, a 2012 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. PRS’s most popular and enduring model since its introduction in ‘85, this Custom 24 features a carved flame maple top finished in gloss Faded Blue Burst, loaded with a pair of 59/09 humbuckers.
Tonewoods include a mahogany body capped with a carved and heavily figured flame maple top, and a mahogany neck with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard. The pair of 59/09 humbuckers are bold and rich-sounding. With a particularly powerful bridge pickup and a “touch of brightness” at the neck, these humbuckers were designed to deliver an ideal blend of harmonic overtone complexity and articulation. The bobbins are actually contoured to ensure optimal string-to-string balance, and the five-way blade pickup selector switch enables single coil sparkle and snap. This Custom 24 weighs 7lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
