Up for sale, a 2018 Suhr Alt T in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded softshell case. John Suhr has more than 45 years of guitar building experience, including leading Fender's Custom Shop as a Senior Master Builder. Bringing his wealth of experience to his own brand beginning in 1997, the Suhr Alt T takes the traditional Telecaster Thinline platform and seamlessly blends both vintage and modern features for the ultimate in performance and playability. This particular Alt T is very much a visual nod to the classic ‘72 Thinline design, boasting a swamp ash body with a gloss Natural finish accented by a pearloid pickguard.
This Alt T is featherweight at 7lbs 1oz, offering a resonant, articulate acoustic platform. The SSV humbucker pair are decidedly vintage flavored, open and articulate with very little compression and fantastic natural warmth. Highly dynamic and responsive to player inputs, the humbuckers are coupled to a five-way pickup selector switch, unlocking out-of-phase slink (Position 2) and a Neck Pickup Coil Tap (Position 4). This Alt T has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
