2020 Danocaster Offset Ice Blue + Headstock w/ Blocks & Binding, Mastery & StayTrem, Case
Beloved by the Fender Offset community, Dan Strain's Jazzmaster-style builds are extremely difficult to find on the open market. Players seek them out, and players hang onto them. This sleek build features a greened-out and tastefully relic'd nitro lacquer Ice Blue Metallic finish with matching peghead, and '66-centric features include witch hat knobs, and pearloid block inlay on the bound rosewood fingerboard.
Pickups include a traditional Jazzmaster-style neck pickup which has a terrific woody cut and harmonic density, while the bridge pickup is more P-90-esque in its construction, with large alnico magnets below the fiber bobbin that offer increased midrange cut and growl. The controls are simplified and the Rhythm Circuit is cleanly taped off from Danocaster. This Danocaster Offset weighs 7lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, where we specialize in Fender Offset and Offset-style instruments, dialed in with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
